Degree Program Information

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science is a four-year program offered by the Division of Social Sciences. The program aims to produce graduates that posses a depth and breadth of understanding of theory, methods, and research in political science and the skills and values that will enable them to engage in teaching, research, government and foreign service, legal work, and advanced studies.

Program Outcomes

• Demonstrate a breadth and depth of understanding of the major concepts and theories in the discipline
• Evaluate and critique existing debates and issues in the theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline
• Conduct research inquiries using appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods guided by theories or conceptual framework in the discipline.
