Degree Program Information
The UPV BA Sociology Program is designed to produce graduates with sociological training valued by employers in a wide range of public and private service sector occupations. After completing the course, a BA Sociology graduate must be analytical and critical thinkers, who will (1) explain and apply concepts, principles and theories of sociology; (2) integrate knowledge from other fields with sociology in understanding social issues and phenomena; and (3) apply knowledge and skills of research.

- Apply knowledge of research methods in designing, implementing, and assessing social programs and projects in academic, government, corporate, development and other settings
